Why did you chose the name caipirinha? Here in Brazil, caipirinha is a strong drink, a mix of lemon, ice, sugar and "pinga", that is 50% alcohol! And I really like both models, but i choose the Horizon. Front reminds me of Ford, sides, rear and interior reminds me of Audi. Great little Suv!

I just thought to create a name that makes you think that driving the car would be as pleasant and dope as drinking a strong drink. What's more, this word is resounding and associates with things we like to do.
Comments are still very welcome!

nice work both of you, this is the first time I've seen a design joint venture. Although the cars of for two different brands, how about a single design with team effort?
By the way, nice interior detailing SV.

If any decision holds, I'm fully open to such an idea. Although I've never posted any design here, thtas just laziness on my part and I don't draw as much as I used to. sometimes I need to be pushed.
one more thing.....we could even start right away, wHiPsTEr send me a proposal of what can be done at tnplayman@yahoo.com

Wow. I think i missed this thread. Well, I really like the front end... looks really well thought out. One thing... Add a shadow to it, it looks like it's floating ATM. You are improving really fast man... keep it up.
:)

i'm not sure how to say this without being rude (since i'm not trying to be), but whose car are you talking about? if you're referring to mine, then thanks, yeah i was thinking about putting a shadow in, but i thought it might ruin the drawing (and i was running out of black colored pencils too ) i might do a shadow of it in the future, actually i probably will, but i won't be able to post it here for a while (the only scanner we have is connected to my dad's ancient, stone-age and horribly slow computer that only scans at a low-resolution without crashing; somehow it was able to decently scan the current drawings). anyway, when i get my own scanner i should be able to post it with a shadow.

I was talkin about the first blue sketch :D. Just a tip you may want/ not want to take. Try sketching more loosly. Your current sketching are all 'accurate' sketches. Maybe you do sketch loose then clean it up but do show us some loose sketches. You have talent man... keep practicing.

i know it's been a while (again...), but i've very subtly revised the front of the horizon. i haven't put the shadow in (yet), but i darkened some of the lines and made the shading a little more realistic. also, this is the first scan with my new scanner

it looks like imageshack only does thumbnails now too. i might have to look for a new image host again
