poor saab..it takes then 3 years to bring out an estate version of the 9-3.. for their sake I really hope it looks like the gold impression(more like the concept) I doubt they will have the horrible bland lights of the green car..

hope they use the launch to upgrade the interior plastics..its a nice car to drive i believe

Its nice in the Saab... but not up to a4 standards
Here's a spyshot from a recent photoshoot for commercial purposes. It's small but legit. The picture as you can see is very low quality but to me it looks like there are some differences compared to the sedan, notably the front, but I could be wrong (and if so, once again dissapointed).

Here's the swedish article: http://www.automotorsport.se/n...19051

I am hoping the rear lights won't be all clear like on the concept.

Were they clear though? The article refers to them as white and this is also how I remember them. I haven't seen them for real so this might just be semantics.

not bad... It looks like they changed the headlights, did they? with faster engines and a black leather interior(not those extra light colors) it would be a competitive car.

As you can se on the picture that Ascariss linked to:
http://www.thecarconnection.co...e.jpg
You can see a small piece of the new taillight.
The lights will be exatcly (or almost) the same as on the concept car, which can be seen here:
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/o...8.jpg
Must say that the silver coulored car used in the ad-photoshot was damn ugly, you can't combine ice-white lights with silver paint

The front lights almost look like they are a combination of the 9-2x lights and the light design that those next-gen 9-5 sketches showed.

I like this, but I wished they sticked to having the C-pillar instead of the D-pillar to be thick and in body color. Why are they getting rid of signature ques like this? It's not like that this could make the car any better.

making the rearlights white is a bit critical imo:
to some colors this style's gonna fit perfectly, to others its just gonna look ugly. Hope they don't get trapped with this idea...

Would guess that the white-lights are exprimental and if the public doesn't like as much as they did on the concept they might remove them infavour for some more neutral taillights in rev/phase #2.
Btw: Anyone who knows anything about Saab 9-5 rev/phase #3 ? (except that they might have the same frontlights as 9-3 SportCombi/Wagon)

nice, though can't really see the changes on the frontend (wonder why 8-) ) but hopefully it will sell better than Volvo V50 and bring back the SAAB in saab.....
