I had to say that Citroen start make smart designs once again like the 60's with DS. Nice!!!!!

Small point:
This car has the same kind of rear end as the Audi TT, which meant that air circulated quickly around the rear end, which lead to the rear end lifting off the road.
Would not suprise me if Citroen fitted a rear spoiler to the car for when they sell it to the public.

It seems to have lost a lot of the elegance that the C6 concept had.
And i seriously dislike the interior. The center console seems to be taken directly from the C5/407, which has really small buttons and is a bit confusing. Also, the nav system seems really badly integrated. It's a bit of a disappointement...

A VTS version with the 6.0 W12 engine from the VW Phaeton would be nice but it will obviously never happen.

Why is there a light by the small rear window? What the hell is the point? It just makes it look ugly? I would laugh if they make an estate or and saloon version of it.
that is quite nice interpolation of main features of that black whale on upper photos on to C6 Linage concept. and a nice example that the opposite way -black thing above as concept and Linage with same detailes- would be much better. or in other words.... Linage tonned down that way would be nice. to do bloated, oversized hump of metal, with interior parts taken from cars two clases lover, that slightly resembles Linage is wrong!
pics found on autowee.nl/forum:

I wouldn't go as far as saying its ugly. There are beautiful french cars. Like the 907 prototype, the C4, the Renaultsport Clio, the 407 to name but a few. The C6 will hopefully be a good 5 series rival (Chris Bangle also does strange cars)

Um...wow, that is a suprise. I personally don't like it - exterior-wise. But the interior is very nice.
I like it how the French are now going to more adventurous designs, just like the olden days, the times when the DS came out..oh Lordy I love that car.

i went over to a citroen garage and this car is confirmed for release in september. Two v6 engines will be available at launch, one petrol, one diesel. The starting price tag may well be as high as 30k, which will make it expensive, sorry exclusive, as the Vel Satis. citroen have been and .......even the 5er, E-class and A4 are cheaper
