It was bound to be a better 4X4 amongst anyone who's serious about them.<p>It's one of the best 4X4s out there, still. Bar none.<p>Great to see it achieve. I hope it also achieves in sales.

I know that this thread hasn't been active for a long time but I would like to update it and mention that there were also other awards for 4x4/SUV cars in Aus such as Best Recreational 4WD- Nissan X-trail ST, Best Luxury 4WD- BMW X5 Diesel 3.0 Auto and Best All-Terrain 4WD- Land Rover Discovery 3 SE TDV6. To check the other award winners for all types of cars go to http://www.mynrma.com.au/cps/rde/xchg/mynrma/hs.xsl/2007_abc.htm?cpssessionid=SID-3F5768EC-DF3AEC7B and look down the bottom of the page.
Note- This is not 4x4 Australia Magazine but Australia's Best Cars. (Unnecessary to start a new thread)
