Chevrolet Avalanche/Cadillac Escalade EXT - 2 It's everything a North American Pickup has always been. Nothing new.
Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra - 2 As above.
Mitsubishi Triton - 4 Looks Trully beautiful, gives the Ute segment a much needed car-like cabin, Good Offroad, great Lifestyle Ute Vehicle. A tad small. Rear seats are amazing!
Nissan Navara - 4.25 Great Pick up truck, good, strong engines, good transmission (manual). Auto dated. Decent Offroad. First Ute with proper rear legroom, though seats are flat and vertical, making the Triton a better bet. Cargo area is enormous. Practicality amazing. Looks good.

Chevrolet Silverado - 5
Chevrolet Avalanche /Cadillac Escalade EXT - 4
Mitsubishi Triton - 3.5
Nissan Navara - 2
Surprise, i look at the markets perspective one more time..the Silverado wins. Best selling, capable, smartly priced & packaged, geniously advertised (yes, yes it is our truck), nuff said (i owned the last generation Heavy Duty model for a couple months & it did not dissapoint, but were talking about the new one..im just saying..). The Avalanche/EXT differs..not..to the Silverado, so i cant really score them differently, so a 0.5 point penalty to them for being slightly nichy. The Triton is easily the sexiest pick-em-up truck ive seen..ever. Some deem it ugly, i deem it rather sexy, that alone makes it to 3rd place. So the Nissan Frontier makes it across the pond..anything else? 2pts..just because it is a capable truck
Guys lets include in a brief explanation for our choices if we can

Silverado-5 no matter what you say about gm, they sure can make trucks.
Avalanche/EXT-4 its essentially a tahoe/escalade with a bed and a nifty rear seat. id go for the silverado instead
Triton-3.5 since they dont sell this in america, im basing this on looks alone
Navara-3.5 this is just the nissan frontier of other markets besides NA right? well its supposed to be a good small truck and its not exactly ugly...

Chevrolet Avalanche/Cadillac Escalade EXT - 2points
(I don't get it. It looks alright but they still can't make the inside looks good or of decent quality (maybe that's just the wood). It doesn't do anything for the segment, except offer another ute)
Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra - 1point
(As above, except more horrible and crude)
Mitsubishi Triton - 4.5points
(Hats off to Mitso for trying to make their ute look cool, it does looks pretty funky. Great quality is a nice change, and while it doesn't really bring much to the sgement, it's top on my list.)
Nissan Navara - 3.5points
(Almost as good as the Triton, but it just lacks the cool factor and some quality)
Chevrolet Avalanche/Cadillac Escalade EXT = 1 they appear to be far more versatile than they actually are
Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra = 5 huge home run for GM
Mitsubishi Triton = 4 beats the hell out of the Raider/Dakota
Nissan Navara = 2 I'm tired of Nissan's rectilinear look
