Wow, Honda has 9 out of the top 25. INteresting to see that some perenial favorites like the Toyota Camry and the Jeep Grand Cherokee are no longer on the list.
Also I think it's kind of funny to note that the M-Roadster is on the list, but the M-Coupe (which IMHO is the more desireably of the two) is nowhere to be found.

Santeno, you hit it on the spot. I was very surprised, to say the least, seeing M Roadster on the list, from two consecutive years, and recent.
Not too surprised by the numbers of cars from Honda made the list, though...

I wonder why such a low-volume car like the M Roadster ranked so high. Is it thefts per units sold? I live in Los Angeles and Ive maybe seen 5 or 6 on the road since the car came out. (maybe because everyone elses M Roadsters were stolen)

I was gonna say the same thing...seriously, how many M-roadsters can possibly be stolen? My friend's dad used to have one, but he got rid of it and bought a C6 (which he just got rid of and bought a 545 because of his back...) but there aren't too many of them, finding them would be hard enough as well as stealing them, and if you own one, chances are you are upper middle class, which means chances are you are in a nice neighborhood which either has good security or low crime rate...I don't know...whatever

Okay here's my theory. Approximately 85% of all cars in University of Southern California parking garages are BMWs (can you imagine trying to park an Isuzu Trooper in parking spaces designed mysteriously to be a perfect fit for a 3er??). Since we're in the middle of the ghetto, the likelihood of them being stolen is relatively high. I'm guessing that most of the M Roadsters were jacked from Parking Structure A, by my dorm, as every other kid who parks there seems to drive one.

I read the the list was complied by the percentage of all cars sold that were stolen (reported). So, given the low number of M roadster sold compared to some other cars on the list, now I am not surprised the M roadster made the list...
