Well, I believe that some of you already know that Nissan has more surprises to spark the its NA market.
Some of these would include:
-Introduction of the Nissan Sports concept (which resembles the Tiida Hatchback) and the possibility that it may go into actual production.

-The Actic and Azeal concept models that will be shown along with the Sports concept at the New York autoshow

-The introduction of at least two new compact models from the ff:
=Nissan Tiida Hatchback (may also be sold in Europe)

(1.8 G variant shown)

=Nissan Note (could be called as the Tone if launched in Europe)

=Nissan March (called Micra in Europe) and has 8-12 colors available

=Nissan Cube and/or Cube3??? (to challenge Scion xB?)

-Launching on the Skyline GT-R as Nissan, and not an Infiniti

and lastly,
-the on-going debate (saw this on Autoweek Forums) regarding the possiblity that the Tiida Latio sedan will be a successor/replacement to the NA Sentra

Debate still on-going at the following URL:
http://forums.autoweek.com/thr...art=0

*All pics are from http://press.nissan-global.com/EN/index.html *

Well with that said, these are Nissan's next plans for the NA market. Those these decisions aren't 100% final, these are the things that can be expected from Nissan.

As I close my statement, I hope that I can hear what you guys (especially from the US and Canada) have to say on what Nissan plans to bring to you and perhaps some comments and suggeestions from forumers outside NA as to what you think about Nissan's next offerings to its NA customers.

With that said, I finally end my statement so,
let the typing begin. (yeah I know, corny ending but I've gotta go to bed now so I apologize for that.)

Its the next generation Cube that may reach North America.
I heard that the Tiida/Tiida Latio was considered too weird/ugly for the taste of North Americans, so they will have to restyle it for the North American market(next Sentra)...

Yeah, I heard the next gen Cube will be available in NA because the current model's safety issues , etc. I've read the same about the Tiida Latio not appealling to the NA market but heard the Tiida(5dr) was concidered more to NA liking.
I think the GTR should be an Infiniti for NA... but thats just my opinion. and I'm hoping the Azeal and Sport Concept make it to production. Hopefully Nissan will give us a clue as to what the next Sentra will look like... they did say that the Azeal had hints of the next Sentra's styling but that not enough.

The Sentra will be different, not a 4 doors Tiida, like the previous generation Sentra was not a Almera sedan. The US model will have another design.

The Tiida Latio Sedan may not replace the Sentra just by that. If it will come to NA, it may come as a separate model.
IMO, it looks okay (not too good, not too bad).

But as for the Tiida Hatchback, it should definitely come NA (as well as in Europe). There is higher potential and chances because of its better design and it even looks better than the Megane IMHO (even though both of them use the same design platform/whatever).

It should be launched along with the Sports Concept (I hear tons of raves left and right).

What about the Note? Any potential for this model hitting the NA market???

And lastly, why the Cube/Cube cubic?
Does Nissan really want to go head on with Scion's xB and what is the market for boxmobiles in NA (if there even is one)???

I think half the sales of Scion in 2004 were that of the xB hatchbacks.
