I read this someplace, maybe it was on this board, or on another site, but I agree the 500 just doesn't fit with the fusion imo.

The interior would probably get a mild update, but most of it is the exterior.

Good, when can we expect this 'revised' 500?

Did anyone say SHO V8? Fingers crossed! The 500 is SLOW. Fix that, Ford.

not saying 200 horses are slow by any stretch of the imagination, but when the rest of the competiton (toyota avalon, hyundai tg, nissan maxima) are all 265+ hp) is miles ahead, a hp increase is needed badly, a fast.

Does anyone else think the Yamaha V8 (from the XC90) would make this one sweet ride?

i can tell you for sure that 210 and 255 are not going to be enough for a large car like that, at least to compete well with the market, at least get in the 265+ hp range like its competitors (tg, maxima, avalon)

The new engine is flexible enough to make as much as 285, so I would bet it would be more than 255.

In any case this wouldn't happen before the 07MY, true?

Is the new three bar grill style going to translate to the Focus as well as the 500?

Saw sister car of this...the Montego and rear end with those LCD taillights looks sweet. Front end just looks silly...reminds of an Hyundai Sonata (old one).
Yeah HP increase should do the trick...I mean spice this thing up a bit. Give people a reason to smile about driving it to work. Eh...

I have a chop that is in process of how I think it will look with the new grille. Maybe I'll post it in the PS section in a few days.

I'm gonna post it now in the PS section. There are two different versions, because I am not sure if they'll change the headlamps.
EDIT:
Here's the link:
http://www.carspyshots.net/zerothread?id=14681
