Wow, everyone totally missed this one. Last week TCC.com reported that Aston Martin V12 powered Range Rover is still in the works.
http://www.thecarconnection.co...n=156
Although The Land Rover Chronicle.com was reporting this months ago.
From http://www.thelandroverchronic...2.htm
Aston Martin has officially moved V-12 engine production to a dedicated engine plant in Cologne, Germany. We can only speculate on whether this decision was made to not only accommodate Aston Martins but also preparation for increased production for future V-12 powered Jaguars and Range Rovers.
The long awaited V-12 is expected to power a new $200,000 Range Rover. Land Rover management have already discussed this new model with journalists. If and when this model is introduced it will face stiff competition from other established Uber car mk's such as Rolls Royce, Bentley and Lamborghini who are all planning to enter this entirely new Super Luxury 4x4 segment.
