Since I'm at work right now, I can only provide the link to the PDF file.
The pictures are on page 15.
For '05 there is the productio version of the mid-engine 'i' concept and a new SUV (kind of looks like the Outlander replacement... )
For '06 it looks like we will see the Evo X, the next gen Pajero (Shogun and maybe Montero...?), and the next gen Delica SpaceGear (8-seater mini-van).
http://www.mitsubishi-motors.c...a.pdf

Certainly good news for Mitsu, they need to come out with new models fast to get them back on track.
EDIT:
MODS & ADMINS: Please move this over to industry news, as this is the wrong section to post. The front design (of what I think is the Outlander replacement) has a Volkswagenesque style to it...
The sketch of the Pajero replacement hints at quite an increase in width. Hopefully Mitsu will give it adequate power this time (260+ hp and 280+ torque would be my recommendation).
The EVO X has lost a lot of its boy-racer look with the smoother lines... looks less aggressive... I hope the interior will be improved, though.

WOW... these aren't that bad. No more ugly split grill. The new Outlander is rumuored to have 7 seats and I thought the Montero was gone due to money needed for development, I guess they got the money some how. I was hoping that they'd show a refreshed galant and endeavor because they're both good cars with awkward styling. Neither has gotten negative reviews for tech/mech reasons just styling flaws.

I extracted another big pic...

Huh looks like the evo will look like the sketches and impressions. Not bad.

I wonder if this SUV

will be the one bought by PSA to sell under the Peugeot or Citroen brand...

Not likin' the look of the EVO. Hope the real version looks very different to the sketches.

crap... I think your right. but I don't think they have the money to offer different looks for different markets anymore. It would be a good idea for them to lose the split grill though. save that money no one likes the split grill.
Is there any info concerning a new Lancer?

Peugeut(?) is buying an SUV? I though they were buying a portion of all of Mitsu... sort of like Renault with Nissan.

bob lutz is quoted for saying it would be more worthwhile to sink however many billion $ it would take to revive nissan in the ocean than actually try; and now look, they sucessfully sell the most poorly assembled cars ( cant get over the maxima bumpers, but infinitis have better initial quality than Lexus in some surveys) w/ a Japanese name plate at amazing premiums, there is still hope for mitsu

01-29-2005, 05:57 PM
PSA and Mitsubishi will sign a deal next week. It's rumored that PSA will buy about 40,000 SUVs from Mitsubishi and rebadge them.
PSA doesn't like capitalitic links, so my guess is on a purely technical cooperation.

the outlander was as well, but it was grossly underpowered - hopefully that won't happen again - if mitsu wants to survive in the states

01-31-2005, 03:11 PM
This is really nice... why can't Mitsu give all their models this clean and non-offensive look. I actually think when Mitsu comes out with their Galant for the JDM market they should just sell it here as well and compete with the Mazda6 more than the Camry/Accord crowd.. just my opinion.
The current Outlander has just as much HP as the CR-V... 160hp since last year.

01-31-2005, 06:15 PM
dont forget the Outlander turbo ..
EVO8 engine in a outlander (detuned)

02-01-2005, 08:11 AM
The new Outlander looks nice, but 7 passengers? They said this would seat seven passenges. Looks kind of cramped. But it does look very nice, and I still have hope that Mitsu can get out of this.

02-01-2005, 09:54 AM
The next gen Outlander is expected to have seating for 7. For the U.S. market a 240hp 3.0l V6 is expected (rumored actually... but considering that the 3.0l V6 GDI made 240PS and 225lbs/ft I don't think that it's too much of a stretch for a redesigned MIVEC 3.0l V6...)

02-01-2005, 05:22 PM
That would be nice. 240 is more than adequate for a small SUV. I don't understand why Mitsu was so quick to take the 3.0 V6 out of there existing vehicles without adding MIVEC to it... it would get way better gas mileage than that huge 3.8 they're using.

Well, it happened at last!
In couple of years we've got Peugeot SUV.
I just can't wait!

Interesting styling mule (definitely done, but not a real car). I'd be interested to see how well this does.

02-04-2005, 11:53 AM
That is actually the real thing. The concept was called "i" and shown at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2003.
http://www.mitsubishi-motors.c....html

02-04-2005, 03:36 PM
The whole inside looks fake or just a mock up.. Are you sure this isn't just a styling prototype.. it doesn't look like the interior is done. I wonder if the Outlander preview is driveable either? Considering there are no interior pics of either, they may both just be previews of the styling. The outlander is not even coming out til next year so that wouldn't be too far fetched.

02-05-2005, 09:14 AM
That's a see-through fiberglass model...
either that or the safety foam supplemental restraint system was accidentally triggered and filled the interior with the grey matter.
