Great news for Landrover than. It seems Ford has finnaly done it. The companies puzzle pieces are just coming together so well. Ford has put landy and Aston back on track with both companies eschewing exiciting new product ranges. Now its Jaguar's turn. Can't wait to se this marques turnaround.

I want to see what Land Rover does with the Freelander & Defender.
If they play it right Land Rover will be a huge success.

Frrelander and Defender are still a wee while away. Everyone at Solihull just needs to take a step back, inhale deeply and see what the world thinks of these 2 new cars and the facelift before finalizing the other 2.

This increase was probably due to the introduction of the LR3. I test drove one and loved it. However, with gas prices through the roof now, 14/18mpg on premium gas is not going to do it for me. But still, assuming the LR3 really gets 18 mpg on the highway, that is only about 3 mpg less than my Freelander gets on the highway.

its all due to the rappers...

KebabGud you're right. But credit is due to LR for creating such an image. Their products look extrovert, drive great and I think in another 2 years they will have a solid product portfolio.
Welcome change from as recent as 5 years ago of complete blandness, where if you bought an LR you were probably a suburban housewife.

Wait till the new Freelander debuts... better gas mileage and a price more people can afford, its a guaranteed success if it continues on LR's new state of styling...

I believe that Freelander is key for US sales as well as the Defender if it ever is reworked for the US.

Freelander is crucial, as I mentioned in one of my posts I believe that customers will go for high-end or low-end suv's that still boast great fuel mileage. LR should play it right with Freelander and make it a mini pimp daddy RR for under $40k.

Anyone know how many units where sold? They can sell one today and two tomarrow and it's 100% gain yet still ****ty sales.

The Freelander is going to remain in the high $20k's because the LR3 is under $40k and the V6 isn't even available yet...

Please check prices of LR3, my belief is 40k to 65k from where RR takes over.

This is why i love Ford! Aston, Mazda, Volvo and now Landrover are so much improved its amazing! Now Ford needs to add sum style to their range, do something with Lincolin and Mercurn and then totally update the Jag range...

Okay Freelander from 27k to 31k, LR3 from 44k to 53k, RR from 73k.
