Ive heard of reports coming out that Toyota was going to make all three or something along those lines but does anyone have proof? Hell, Toyota has a history of all three. Starting with the diesels, Toyota delivery trucks are some hard working diesels and very HD. And the Toyota dually that uhual once used, i still see a few around today.

Sorry mate<p>This is a dually(dual back tires, a total or 4, 2 on each side.)<br><IMG SRC="http://www.dynamat.com/gallery/2002_Dually/2002_Dually_03.jpg" BORDER="0"><p>and HD refers to "Heavy Duty" such as a diesel or heavier duty truck.

What does the number of rear wheels got to do with diesel engines, Toyotas and heavy duty, and vice-versa?

By putting 4, you can carry more payload and pull more wieght. I diesel falls perfectly into this because diesel can produce more tourqe per litre vs. gas.<p>Without a diesel in a HD is like having a lawn mower engine in a Lambo, The car is meant for one thing yet the motor is meant for something else.

Yes but I dont understand the question...<p>I mean it's as if a thread was called:<p>"Mercedes Benz or rear wheel drive or Kompressor?" I mean they're all related but what do they have to do with each other in the context of the question?

I think he just means:<p>Will there be a Toyota Dually?<br>Will there be a Heavy Duty?<br>Will there be a diesel?<p>Maybe this helps? <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/nixweiss.gif" BORDER="0">

Yeah of course. Diesel Jettas arent really heavy duty(engines are) and neither are the mercedes-benz diesels lol.
