This is my first post so I appologize if I'm doing anything wrong. I noticed when watching the new commercial for the Hyundai plant in Alabama that designers were working on a car that I hadn't seen before that resembles the 2002 HCD-VII concept. Perhaps its the production version? <p><br><B>From Commercial: </B><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/fannythug/Hyundai1.bmp" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/fannythug/Hyundai2.bmp" BORDER="0"><p><I>Source: Hyundai Motor America <br>http://www.hmmausa.com/mediafiles/HNXF-1007-0418.mov[/I]<p><B>Concept Vehicle: </B><p><IMG SRC="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/fannythug/hcd7_800.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><I>Source: hyundai.it</I><br><BR><BR>

I see it in the door handles and window line of the clay, it could just be for the concepts development though.

finally someone has some shots of that commercial. theres another thread here on that commercial and we were trying to figure out what car it was.

The clay model and the line drawing from the commercial are the same car. Look at the general proportions and shapes. Styling often takes the form of numerous models with variations on a theme centered around a given set of parameters. The car has a pleasing shape though not especially memorable. Then again the Lexus LS is pleasing if not exactly a future classic.
