I love the Civic, but that doesn't come close to Mazda MX5 anyway. But since its the best one here I voted Civic.

Oh geez, great topic! I wonder why I didn't start this myself..
For me personally, even though the GT-R is still the king, I reckon the FD Series 8 RX-7 is my kinda car. Absolutely perfect in every way, killer looks, awesome engine, great chassis. I'd take one in a flash, modified or stock.
But runner ups must certainly be the GT-R, obviously, the S15 200SX/Silvia and more recently, the S2000. The S2000 has risen quite a bit in my book after seeing the Spoon, J's Racing and ASM versions of it.
Other noticeable mentions must go to the DC2 JDM Integra Type-R and the RX-3.

I voted GT-R. Only cos my pop used to have one for about 6 months, and it was alrite. But i still dont go much on riced up cars.

Why does eveyone associate 'Japanese' with 'Ricer'? It's the worst stereotype I've ever experienced - just you watch when a bone stock R32 GT-R rips apart an E46 M3. 'Ricer' that folks.

I'm sure the R32 GT-R could shame many German cars costing way more than the GT-R (here in Australia anyway), the E46 M3 included. Take these cars onto a track and I'm positive the GT-R could beat it.

I'm not positive on the specs of the R32 GTR, but I could've sworn the e46 M3 out did the r32 in most aspects...the r34 I could see beating an M3, but I'm not too sure about the r32...and don't the m3 and r34 gtr cost around the same if with the r34 possibly being more? I know you can get an m3 for about 46...the r34 imported to america is 90 but I am sure it is cheaper in other countries...I think I have heard around 52 maybe? not sure...I a not saying the skyline isn't a great car or anything, it's a fantastic car, but people like to say (not on tis forum exactly) "with a few mods I could make the gtr get over 400 hp" or whatever...well I could say the same thing about any other car...I am fond of naturally aspirated cars that come that way stock because you can always add forced induction systems later and really blow away the competition...M3 vs. gtr seems like an honest compariosn, but the gtr vs. the Z06 is somewhat rediculous IMO...while of course I have bias towards the Z06 , it just seems like kind of an odd compariosn...the same goes for M3 vs. Z06...sure, you can compare the cars, but they just seem to be totally different types of vehicles...though I don't want to send this thread off topic, so I may start a new topic because I would really be interested in seeing people comparisons between an r34 gtr and a Z06 (btw, is Nissan coming out with an R35 gtr anytime soon to make a more fair comparison against the '06 Z06?)

I'm part Japanese and, truth be told, I'm not very fond of these so-called "rice burners".
But in terms of J-spec cars... there's so many awesome ones that I like that it's hard to picka favorite.
