Hey guys,
I really like the cadillac CTS-V but the engine is just too powerful. Can I get the regular CTS and just add the bodykit? Or get the V without the powerful engine?
Ash

nah, no car can be too powerful
( even tho there are stories of the rearend simply not able to hold down during a full-out launch )

If I was shopping for a caddy cts, I would just get the cts for 30k, and that'd be it. Forget it about the v, forget is about adding body kit, save the money and buy something else...I personally think the regular cts just enough

or wait for the CTS 3.6 to get the six speed transmission ( if it hasnt already)

there is a guy around town who has a cts with the cts-v body kit, so yes, it is possible to get it...and yes, the cts-v gets wheelhop which can be fixed with either a slight adjustment of the dif. or something, or a different set of tires i believe...infact i think they may have already fixed the problem...

The CTS is currently available with the 3.6 and a six speed. You can get a dealer installed wire mesh grill on the regular CTS that looks sharp.
Keep in mind though... a $30K CTS will only have the 2.8L V6... not the 3.6L.

Honestly, I am more for the looks of a car....since this is not my dream car. I would like to own a few cars in the near future. One for work ( honda civic hybrid) A cadillac CTS/ a E class Merc for weekends and just going out, and finally a ferrari, which is my dream car. maybe a mustang too. So yea I was wondering it if is possible to dress up the CTS.
