Some magazine made a poll few years ago. The question was just about people's favorite car name. Alfa Romeo Giulietta won. Now let's have something like that here. You can say 3 top places of you.

Moco? Now that's comedy (It means booger in spanish) :)
I don't care for car names one way or another, Though I love the traditions of naming cars after a specific topic, Like Maserati's that used to be named after winds, Lamborghini's that are named after spanish fighting Bulls, Etc.
I do love a few Brand Names. Audi rolls off the tounge quite nicely in most languages. For some strange Reason I've always loved the name Hispano-Suiza.

For not well meditated names, take this:
Mazda Laputa (in spanish means 'the*****')
Mitsubishi Pajero (in spanish means 'wanker')

01-19-2005, 02:56 AM
I like:
Audi Nuvolari
Lambo Murcielago
Lambo Diablo

For the car designs I'm making (hope to have it scanned soon), I'm having my company's name to be HMS for Helios MotorSports, and one of the first sports car to be Valkyrie

Vantage
And I hate how the new V8 is called the Vantage because it's not a Vantage. Vantage used to mean top of the line and high performance. An extreme machine. They're destroying a good name with a great history.

COUNTACH... apparently in Italian that word is slang for "HOLY SHlT"
The rumor, according to something i saw on tv.. said the first time the finished car was driven outside, someone who saw it.. yelled "Countach".. a Lambo Exec overheard it.. and the rest is history, thats how the car got the name.
Sounds kinda crazy.. but its a cool story if true.
