What are some cars that you never see, yet you think that there would be more of them on the road? For me it's... <p>1. Buick Rainer: There are lots of Chevy Trailblazers/GMC Envoys in my area (As well as a few Oldsmobile Bravadas), but I have yet to see a Rainer on the road. <p>2. Saab 9-2X: I thought Saab would do well with the 9-2X but I guess I'm mistaken. I will see about 1 to 3 of the new Volvo S40/V50s every week, but ever since the 9-2X came out, I've probably seen only 2 on the road.<p>3. Chevrolet SSR: I guess I can see why I've only seen one on the road; it's one of the ugliest vehicles on the road, basicly useless, underpowered (From what I've read with the old engine), and fills no market segment. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/1zhelp.gif" BORDER="0">

Pegeout 607's are about the most rarest cars to date. And Honda NSX's. How long have they been out? Because I've only ever seen one in the metal!

Yes, if we forget about supercars, probably the NSX. I've already seen more Murcielagos than those.

I've got funky car radar <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emwink.gif" BORDER="0"> Quirky cars are most certainly on the decline. It's exciting to see Saab Sonnet on the road, and yesterday there was a Packard Clipper driving in my area! Sadly I think I am the one driving the odd car these days (Alfa Milano) <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emsad.gif" BORDER="0"> Niche makers are getting swallowed up or have long pulled out of the US market.

the honda accord is rare here. i don't know the most american cars that are named in this thread. also a 850 ''lives'' in my neigbourhood. the 9-2x hasn't come in greece yet. as for volvos, there are not very, but there are enough s40/v50, but not to many s60s. (i have one) and i nowe from the dealer that every costumere that takes the s6o, places it in a garage. and there are many garages here in greece...

In NYC you would be hard pressed to see many scions. I've seen a few Xb's, one Xa and no Tc's.

I don't know. I do know that size isn't the deciding factor, because small cars like mini's TT's, miata's, prius', etc., can be seen with disturbing regularity all over the city.

I have not seen much older than 1995 or so, except for lots of Hondas and Toyotas and lots of trucks/SUVs. I also rarely see more modern GM cars. I can'<br>t remember the last time I saw a '92-'95 Grand Am GT or even a newer (facelifted Sunfire.
