You can not compare a BMW M5 with a Honda or a Mazada!
The best Midsized family sedan would have to be the Toyota Camry or the Hyundai Sonota.
The best luxury midsized sedan for me is the Mercedes E class or the Audi A6

Now that we got more choices in a poll, everyone is making polls that don't make any sense. Who woudn't chose n M5 over an Accord? You could just take the M5, sell it, and buy an Accord(if you wanted one instead) to save $60,000
Please guys make the choices more difficult or worthwhile to think about, otherwise the poll is completely unnecessary.
sorry I just sounded like a moderator or something, it's just my opinion there.

Just saw a silver quattroporte today on I-710. It's rather large. Can't decide whether it looks good or bad, but certainly attracts attention, much more (to me, at least) so than an S-class or 7-series.

but the burning question: is the Mazda 6 really better?

This is the most stupid poll i've ever seen. How can you compare one car that starts at 20K and another that nears 100k?!!?!?!?

This poll is wacked. But still , if I had to choose, I'd probably choose a Subaru Liberty/Legacy 3.0

Best midsize sedan is new VW Passat for me. If we are talking about luxury midsize sedan then Audi A6.
M5 and QP don't belong in this poll. We can't compare them with Honda and Mazda.

So this is a 'midsize' poll.
Where did Maserati Quattroporte come from (I believe it should be classified as full size luxury sedan)?
And most importantly, where do I see Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, Hyundai Sonata and Ford 500 (even disregarding some less popular midsize sedans out there)?

If you want your choice of car on the poll, just add it.
But, I really think we should restruture the question of poll...something like best luxury midsize, or best non-luxury midsize

Heck, let me get in on this.
For all practical purposes, I am going to choose to Sonata. I have been very impressed since it was first captured on spy shots. The unveiling of the Sonata at NAIAS on Monday is a big sign for Hyundai to be recongized for years to come. God this car's great...its proven quality, reliablity and standard features, and to my surprise, the power and the refinement of this car (the V-6 boosts 237hp, what an improvement) and a lot more goodies while still keeping the price low (last i heard it was starting below 20k).
Truth to be told, I would take the new Sonata over any other comparable midsize sedan under 30K, and I only have to pay somewhere 20k - I am actually thinking of getting a sedan in the near future, as it would serve a lot more functionality than my current coupe.
check the website Hyundai put up: http://www.hyundaisonata.com

Can mods modify the choices of the poll? If so, please move the Hyundai Sonata (the one that's spelled wrong) into the 2006 Hyundai Sonata
thanks!
