I have heard a little bit of gossip about the next Toyota Tundra being upsized to the Ford, GM, Dodge, Nissan size of full size pickups. I also heard that next Tundra might have a 3/4-1 ton chassis choice, with a diesel option that would be competitive with the American Big 3's offerings of diesels. Does anyone here have any additional info. about this?
Also, is there a 3/4-1 ton Nissan Titan pickup in the works, and a diesel offering too? I was very impressed with Nissan's first full size North American pickup truck.
Regards, Eightballsidepocket

I'm almost certain that the new Tundra will come with a diesel, but as for the Titan, I'm not sure. While Toyota it seems like is going after work and personal truck buyers, Nissan is mainly going for personal truck buyers. Also, I think the 5.7 litre V8 in the Titan is big enough, I mean it does 0-60 in like 7 seconds.
