Published this morning in Autocar magazine, and allegedly leaked by some MG Rover designers in the wake of the company's demise.

Modified by MrMGMan at 10:14 AM 4/27/2005

I see the picture, just right click on the box and then click view/show picture.
Those designs look very promising and original I should say, too bad we couldn't see them in production.

It might have been refusing to show up because I posted it using Firefox. I've edited the post and reposted the image using Internet Explorer, hopefully that should have solved any problems people are having viewing it.

However I managed to force the picture to show. So: another synthetic design. A bad idea for Rover, 'cuz it is associated with elegancy and more classical look. But that's only my opinion.

Elegance and a classical look will be very hard for any European manufacturer to achieve once the EU's 2009 Pedestrian protection legislation comes into force. These cars were designed to exceed the minimum requirements of that legislation, so that accounts for their rather 'bluff' look.

Any chance of sending the pics to the Admin and getting them to post?
You can get them to work, by using the link of the picture and it should show you the pictures

When I saw them in Autocar they actually looked good, and looked as though they could really compete with the best in the class, but after looking now, they dont look as good IMO.
