Mr Burns. - 4, Great design and just what Mercury could do with to relaunch itself.. a funky compact niche vehicle that people will want to buy over a Ford. I like the way the character lines on the top sketch sort of follow the lines on the badge (was it intended or is it just me seeing things? lol)
DoMiNo -3, As always, Great render and a great design. I'm not too sure about the front... it has a hint of rover 75 mixed with Mazda and I personally don't think it gels with the back end (which IMO is the cars best feature). Everything else is pretty much perfect!
vexed&glorious - 2, I really like your design.. wish i could see the back a bit more. Nice detailing on the front and a great roofline. It's a great sketch, I wish you had more time as i'd have loved to see a fully rendered version.
napoleondyna - 1,This is a superb design and would be a great image builder for a revitalised Mercury. It has a Ferrari look about it, but at the same time you've incorparated the Mercury grille well.
DoMiNo - 4: Fantastic job mate, one of your best i reckon. I would love to see such a coupe come into production
Vexed&Glorious -3: a like yours a lot, it has a certain passion to it that Mercury desperately needs to regain. Just like with DoMiNo's entry, i'd love to see such a coupe
Mr. Burns - 2: love yours as well mate. It seems to take cues from recent Ford and Mazda concepts which is more than logical since Mercury is part of the same family. A car like this based on the next Fiesta would be awesome
napoleondyna -1: like your version of a Mercury coupe a lot as well. Nice and clean, more Ferrari than Mercury but since Mercury is lacking an I.D. of it's own at the moment i'm all in favour of a change

4-Vexed&Glorious- Great design with very little changes i could picture this leading the way for mercurys comeback its bold american with style, sketch is a bit sloppy and rough.
3-DoMiNo- Loved the rendering and the design was good only complaint is the grill (IMO) it would have looked stronger and cleaner without the painted pieces deviding it into 3 sections.
2 Axle- not bad at all definantly cougar , but and in need of more creativity and style.
1 Mr. Burns- Way to Buick/Caddy to give mercury its identity back but definantly a clean sketch

4-domino-you always push me to do my best, nice design...it pushes mercs face forward, I don't quite agree with the nose. your really grasping PS
3-Mr.burns- i feel the same about your work as well, makes me want to do better, especially your killer line work and quality. your design is very interesting. wish the dlo could be a bit more out going like the body
2-napoleondyna- i loved your design from first look, very clean nose, wish the body was the same good none the less.
1-axle- i don't think I've ever seen a pencil drawing from you. it has that classic american look to it. good work,
Hi guys! This is my first exposure to the contest forum, and I am pleasantly surprised at the talent to be found here! Most of these designs are quite exciting and unique, but it seems sort of odd that many chose to design sports coupes for Mercury.. not sure that would be the body style to save this struggling marque! So my voting is based equally on the vehicle renderings and their likelihood to save Mercury.
4 - DoMiNo - by far the most professional rendering, but also a practical sedan vehicle with a modern style. Big ups to you!
3 - MrBurns - incredibly nice rendering as well, and takes Mercury into a niche they haven't competed in for years - especially in this neo-fuel crisis!
2 - Vexed&Glorious - you have a distinct style in your work.. it looks quick and rough at first, but the overall shape comes through strongly. This coupe is simple yet elegant, which actually describes the majority of Mercury's current lineup.
1 - napoleondyna - great render, interesting shape, but not sure how it fits in the Mercury lineup.
Good job guys.. looking forward to the next contest!
