Classic-Saab-Man
Very creative approach. Intergration of the "H" is very clever. Good Stuff. I see a vast improvement in your designs.
Vexedandglorious
A cool little car. I like your well thought out surfacing, especially on the front of the vehicle. Possibly a bit small but who knows, maybe in 2017 we'll only be driving small cars. The grille is also an interesting look into the future of Hondas "face"
Kakapoopie
An excellent rendering. However dspite it being well drawn it looks almost dated, especially the rear. So because this contest's focus is on the future of the CRX yours unfortunately doesnt shout "futuristic" to me at all. But good drawings.
Driven By Design
Well your drawings are good but theres about 7 different designs there! They all seem very coupe like though. And not very Honda-like. Nonetheless they're all very cleanly drawn and well proportioned
206
Well after all your comments of the CRx being a 2+2, yours is tiny man! Would be a cool little sports car maybe a Honda S800 revival but certainly not a CRX, it looks like a mid engined sports car. It's funky and fun but i wish you had made it a little bigger and brought the A pillar further back.
DoMiNo
Wow... Simply outstanding. I personally love this design. The colour works brilliantly with the wonderfull lines of the car. Absolutely top stuff man! The only fault I can really crit your design on is the lower belt lines dont seem to flow into the rear of the car at all. But this design is awesome.
Flyinmonkey351
Once again you dont dissappoint. Always putting your best work forward. I love the the rims of the car. The profile is very sporty and CRX-like. Futuristic too.
Nurburgring
I like how you've taken Hondas current design face. However it looks more Accord Coupe like to me. And i dont really like the different rims you've decided to put on the car, rather have the same rims on all 4 wheels. Good effort nonetheless.
Taskbearer
Very futuristic and professional looking presentation and design. The sharp edges and simple body structure is futuristic and smart looking. Good Stuff.
Mr Burns
I never knew the CRX was a sports SUV???
The car is too tall and big. It also doesnt look very futuristic, looks like a design we'd see coming out now. To me, there is absolutely no Honda in it at all. The CRX didnt have an air intake in the side. Look it may be drawn vry well and rendered well but for this contests requirements it just doesnt do it for me. sorry man. Your drawing skills are excellent though. You seem to be very good at designing muscular cars :-)

Ok now the votes. It was tough. Well done to everyone.
DoMiNo - 5
Flyinmonkey351 - 2
Driven By Design - 2
Taskbearer - 1

Reinterpreting classic automotive icons is no easy task, although I must admit taking issue with designs that either strayed from the CRX formula, or which attempted to "redefine" Honda styling. Both of those elements were significant determining factors in my vote. Nevertheless, they are all good artistic efforts. My votes and comments are as follows:
Kakapoopie (4)
+ Great balance of retro feel with futuristic lines. Nice proportion, cute stance. Wonderful use of reflections and sense of geometric volume on the rear perspective shot. I think it's pretty clear from the votes so far that you're gonna ace this contest.
Front is overly cute, too Euro-chic. Headlights are awfully anonymous.
Flyinmonkey (3)
+ Very "future-feasible" in terms of where I anticipate car design might be in ten years. It's not too radical, but not conservative either. I particularly like that you did not give it a grille, a trait of the original design that has been overlooked on many of these submissions.
Presentation could be sharper, though as you admitted it is a bit messy. Could benefit from borrowing a few more design elements of the original car to ensure no confusion about the car's heritage.
Domino (2)
+ Great presentation as always. Dual CHMSL placement at both top of rear hatch window and across rear midsection is innovative. Nice flow of rear window into a "blacked out" rear end, and probably the best overall homage to the original car's rear end design.
Too coupe-like. The racy profile and overdone sill treatment, despite being well-done, is far too busy. I hate to be critical of well-executed ideas, but I'm not about to place you on a pedastal just because I admire your work so much, Domino. If anything, it means I have to be even more critical. You're talented enough to win all these contests.
Puffhead (1)
+ A great first effort. Even though it is very conservative, it says "Honda" too me. Even though it may not look like a car of ten years from now, it looks believable and production-feasible.
Could definitely benefit from some aerodynamic refinement.
