Much like the YouTube comments. with the exception of the sliding into the pole test, all other tests seem normal to me. It also seems like rear passengers don't fare so well, but in all honesty who would ever place anyone in those back seats. Those back seats exist only for a quick and very uncomfortable ride and to lower the cost of insurance.

But other brands are getting 5 stars in coupes. In the ANCAP this should of gotten 4 stars if it was structurally sound minus the safety features.

The concerns below are serious enough.

Whilst tend to disagree with stars only being available for some bells and whistles like rear passenger seat belt reminder (it doesn't make the car actually safer, just reminds stupid people) or speed limiting cruise control (actually people tend to concentrate less when "on cruise"), AEB is actually something that can prevent crashes (as is ESC/ESP), and apparently this will be here with the facelift. So at least one star added.

More worries concenr the structure, which also showed weaknesses in the IIHS small overlap, and here especially in the siode crash test, and both seat belts and airbags apparently weren't to well setup, with firing to late and not synchronized, so ultimately forces on the driver were very high. Again, that is something that should be easy to update during the upcoming facelift, so I guessit could/should end up with at least 4 stars.

A (real) coupe is of course not ideal for rear passenger, so some (like the Audi TT) are just legal for kids, thus eliminating the need to be tested with "full size dummies" that as result suffer high loads on the head especially in side testing with hitting the head on the flat c pillar and slipping out of the low seat belts.
