Im sure Mitsubishi will reveal some variety of the 380... maybe ralliart or the 190kw VR-X.... and Holden might reveal a concept (i wouldnt be surprised but then they already got alot revealing). I wonder if Toyota will reveal a concept Toyota Aurion TRD (not the cut-out from Melbourne) but a concept style version (the exterior at least)
From other brands... i hope more comes down from Paris and it would be cool if we could getta World Pemiere from a manufacture other then the Australian ones

I think it will be happen for bring more Mitsubishi 380 versions for launch. I really think Holden will launch a new concept because they didn't launch it at melbourne this year. Maybe it will also happen for Toyota Aurion TRD to go against HSV and FPV.
I think there will be more surprises to unveiled soon, there's already few conferming few weeks ago from Paris show but i'm very sure there will be more cars to come.

I would have expected both new Land Rovers to be shown at the Sydney Motor show - the new Freelander and the new Defender. If I were Land Rover, I'd be working my guts out to get them there - Melbourne motor show isn't half as important and Land Rover needs to make use of the image boost the RRS and Disco 3 have given it to show that the WHOLE range is new. Plus, they want to make sure the Freelander gets shown well in advance of any new X3, Q5 or any other competitors if they want the Freelander to succeed in Australia this time. It doesn't matter if they can't have them on sale yet, they need to show them and say they'll be here in 6 months or whatever.
I was also hoping the Mazda 6 diesel range to be finally launched.
No word on either yet?

Oh on a side note, who would be keen to meet up at the Motor Show this year if we go ahead and do another CSS meet up?

Just say if you're deffinitely coming, if you may be interested, or if you deffinitely aint coming.
If you live in other parts of Australia and you can make it (i.e. me) , great!

I'm pretty sure someone at Ford or FPV said that the BF MkII range was specific to the Falcon range, and that it would not translate to the FPV range. Maybe just a few spec changes, because it had a major facelift last year? More power hopefully.....

It's more of a luxury GT-P. From what I understand, they are based on the normal Falcon shape, not the Fairlane. So it's a softer GT, so you get your chrome and beigh leather seats along with DVD players etc, with the same power. There is a market for this type of car for sure, but only if FPV do a good job, which I'm sure they will.

Just came from the show. IMO, highlights are the VE range, the R8 and RS4, Those damned Bentleys, the Passat Wagon is better than a basic audi or a BMW, the CX7 and deffinitely the Pajero, and there was a Saab I wasn't blind to. A concept car...
Lowlights are that the Aurion looks only okay, the Force 8 is rubbish, The VW Golf GTi lacked 2 doors, The Hummer looks ridiculous (are they sure its not a Suzuki?) and there are no proper 7 seater SUVs except the Discovery....
So basically, nothing new, but everything really cool anyway...

Nah, It's totally ignoreable next to the VE commodore and the BF Falcon. They're cheaper, better, more frugal, handle and ride better, are local, look better and have better quality. Maximas and 380s are totally ignoreable too. Only the Aurion holds a chance of not being forgotten.
