I suppose it will help advertise the car in England as it is not as popular as many of it's rivals.

03-15-2006, 11:25 AM
There are quite a few interesting cars out there, but in my opinion, the line-up cannot beat Gerneva or Tokyo.
Do you guys agree?

03-19-2006, 08:06 PM
Hearing Rumbles about a new Volvo coming out at the show. Can't be the S or the C. Wondering about xc70 or 50.
Anyone?

03-21-2006, 11:25 AM
I did hear that they were making a smaller off roader, so maybe.

03-31-2006, 09:37 AM
The list was taken when the LS concept was new, and the final car hadnt been unveiled.
I now presume the LS will be there.
There is no way it can be as good as Geneva. The location is simply crap, and will mean a lot of UK car fans (including myself) will not bother with this second rate effort.
The 2007 Corsa will definatly be shown at London, as there have been adverts placed on the sides of London cabs.

The British shows were nearly extinct the past few years, so im just really really happy that this one has the kind of attendancy as stateted on that list. What happened to all the Italian companies though??And i think its a big mistake for the VW group not attending, the UK is a very strong market and they should make an appearance. Then again, i suppose they dont have or dont want to show anything new in London
ps:normally we should also expect Aston Martin and Volvo since other Ford companies are making it.

I am amazed that Audi isn't showing the TT in London. They sell more here than anywhere else!

I think VW is being very snob and reckons London show isnt as high profile for the TT.
I mean its obvious its VW who calls the shots cause most of its companies are not attending. Not even Skoda who gets the best reviews from UK publications, yet im surprised that SEAT will attend

Odd, I have never seen a new Toledo, and only a couple Alteas and Leons. Maybe they want to promote Seat, or they are showing their less popular car company to a less popular motor show.
Is Peugeot, Renault or Citreon showing some new models?

04-18-2006, 10:03 AM
From the site.
We can already announce this exciting line up:
Peugeot
Vauxhall
Citroen
SEAT
Ford
Honda
Toyota
Mitsubishi
I wouldn't call a couple of those car companies "exciting", but if Rolls-Royce does enter then that might improve the show.

I saw the videos on the channel 4 website, and to be honest I'm glad I didn't go, it wasn't worth driving over 100 miles to go there.
