I wouldnt think so.
The embargo is something like the 18th, so expect it to premiere at Geneva in March.

Actually, BMW has little new product showing at L.A. The M3 Competition Pkg and the Hydrogen car were their standouts.

There is a strong chance the diesel in that car may come to North America, but not for a while (the 3.0 diesel comes first). We should see the gas V8 and later the 3.0 diesel. The 3.0 diesel will first debut here in the Q7 SUV. They may shuffle the engine releases, but that is what I've heard so far.

I went to the show and I must say that I was very impressed by the VWs.
The new Jetta's interior feels on par with the current BMW3, and sitting in the Phaeton gaves me the impression of a Rolls(which makes sense since VW bought the company, and yeah, I know BMW owns the brand, but.....)
As with Honda, the Accord is no longer all new and are all over the place here in LA, however, people still seems to be very interested in it, I actually had to wait to sit in it, which I didn't have to with the all new Jetta.

The Phaeton's interior felt much more expensive and a little more comfortable than the S-class which I also sat in just for comparison.

Hey Audicted, any pics or word from the Isuzu booth :) ???

CarMatt, all I remember from Isuzu at the show was just a couple of GMT360s with Isuzu badge, which aren't really Isuzus anyway. You didn't miss much.

i went to the auto show last night...and
it was great b/c all the production cars that debuted at detroit came to LA...the Ridgeline, the Raider, the Fusion, the everything
anyways...i loved the GS....it was magnificent...there was black GS300 earlier in the show (as seen through lexus's live auto show cam online), but now they brought a silver GS430...wow
the back of the GS is not that big in person; it flows nicely with the rest of the car
the M45 was also not as bad; the back is not as big as the pictures as well
and also the LF-S is that much more beautiful in person
the rigdeline is also pretty nice for a truck

agreed, the LA auto show was one of the best i've been to in years. as lexusfan said, the GS and the M45 look magnificent in real life, the rears are not nearly as bad as in pictures. the GS, though, was much the better in my book.
most of the stuff from detroit was there, with everything lexusfan pointed out plus the new eclipse, b9x, etc. etc. etc. very good show.
i took about 100+ photos.. i'll get them up later, i suppose. my feet need some icing right now..

here are some pictures I took at the show. Mostly exotics...
I also thought that this was the best show they have done since I started going to these things (which is only a couple of years). There were some very impressive displays... most notably, porsche.
http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/.../bb26
