"Fuel cell technology is used to power the Intrado, with the powertrain making use of a Li-ion 36 kWh battery"

So this "fuel cell" car needs half the battery of a Model S to run? This is idiotic, if you need a car with 600km range just add a small ICE engine to it. You will need half the battery and the fact that you will only use it for something like 10 percent of the time, should outweigh hydrogen's questionable environmental benefits.

it is a concept... ultimate eco car would have battery for the city and fuel cell for longer journeys, hence their configuration... obviously, with current battery tech, which is too heavy, it doesnt make sense for production vehicle.
