So you can buy both the American and European Passat in China then? interesting. And are they still selling the Skoda Superb Mk. 1 rebadge as well?

At least no one in China can complain that VW offers too few sedans :devil1:

Yes, the Magotan (the EU Passat) has a LWB to, so similar size to Passat NMS.

Superb Mk2 is on sale in China, no Mk1.

Also sold.......
Passat New Lingyu (B5)
Santana (B2)
Santana Vista (B2)
Lavida
Polo sedan (9N)
Jetta (Mk2)

Thanks for cleraing it up ;)

Although the New Lingyu is actually using the Superb Mk. 1 greenhouse instead of the initial stretched Passat greenhouse since 2005 or so IMO (no third sidewindow anymore).

An impressive list of sedans, though. Which hatchbacks are on sale, in comparison?

I think you've gone off the deep end.

I'm sorry, but this is disgusting looking. I like the front. But the front 3/4 view is the best it will get. Go ahead and turn it to a profile and let your eye burn out. The roof and window lines are AWFUL. It's seriously like a mid-90s sedan shape when trunks were just rectangular extensions from the rear cab. What a bland design... You hounded Toyota for the new Crown recently for the same philosophy of failing to design cars over grilles and tail lights. This is the SAME THING. VW regurgitated a toaster box shape with a sleek face. Big. Deal.
