So, what does this title mean? It means that you have got 2 weeks (ending November 23) to create a modern 1950s era car. This means alot of chrome, big fins, fat whitewall tires and probably some tow-tone paintjob. Go wild!

How about a new Thunderbird that pays homage to the '55 without looking like a cross between a Camry and a 50s Corvette (last Tbird)?

It's been almost one week already. Is anyone making an entry to this?

Cartoons...tooo funny. rotating the 300 headlights 90 degrees.

Early 50s cars were barely updated versions of the cash starved 40's. But by the late 50s cars had developed tremendous confidence about their design.

Neither did the late 50's cars look starved which is another issue I have with your first try.

C'mon raise it, you can do it!

The Belair reminds me that they used to do ghastly color combinations for two-tones. Coral, turquoise, sea foam green. Yikes. The Chrydillac, I think, better captures the wretched excess of the time when American manufacturers went to "fin land". I was kind of hoping Casey would have thrown in.

I didn't enter this, because I entered it in that previous contest for reviving a discontinued brand... but thought you might enjoy it in this context...

I didn't enter to this, because I have not even a clue what sort of cars there were in the 50's in America, but if I have some time and I have a good idea in the future I will enter in the next contests.

1. canarycny- I like it! It quite realistic and could go in production
2. ACcartoons- It's a close second, because I think you have done a great job to change the whole car! But it doesn't look very realistic, but keep the good work up!
3. davidesign- It's a good 3rd but I don't like the colors and the front bumper doesn't fit to the styling of the rest of the car.
