After the transformation from boring Mercedes copy cats in the 1990's Lexus has undergone a transformation into a supercar maker and a leader in hybrid technology.

Your task is to make a new model for Lexus that incorporates one of these themes - and while you can make a new LS or any other existing Lexus model you can also create new ones too. Maybe a coupe SUV or four door coupe to compete with the Euro makers again!

Contest will be open until 15th July 2011 and you must post a photo or contest topic suggestion as well as your entry.

The previous-gen Lexus IS boasts a wagon version within the model lineup, so I thought to myself: “why not do an estate for the current-gen?”

Here it is, the 2011 IS-F Shooting Break Concept.

A worthy performance wagon to challenge establish offerings from European automotive powerhouses Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.

I wonder, where has my contest entry went?

Ddw, I think its because of the hosting over at WCF.

As you know the images have to be 300 pixels wide for the voting gallery and I cannot find a way to resize the photo to that size.

When people are voting they will still see your entry from your original post.

TheophilusChin: 3 - As usual, quality is excellent - but in terms of design execution it could be further refined. No disrespect.

Culong81: 5 - Audi, BMW and Mercedes would shudder at your concept because it was stylistically superbly executed that should it be green-lighted for production (if Lexus bothered to check out here), prospective customers would have a hard time choosing their first (or next) premium chariot!

canarycny: 4 - It looks edgy and yes I liked. Only the choice of color needs further tweaking.

ajprice: 4 - I think the IQ-F is a better conception than the Aston Martin badge-engineered Cygnet.

Porsche-Power: 3 - Similar comment to Theo's idea.
