It's probably a little too early to bring this up but can anyone speculate what world or N.A. debuts Chicago might get? LA got a bunch and Detroit will have the usual ****load of debuts. A few have already been announced for NY but nothing for Chicago. There better be some, I'm going for the first time in 10 years.

Im almost possitive Hyundai will debut their new Azera if not the new Accent or Santa Fe?

I will also be attending the show as I will be in town during that time for a fraternity convention. Im super stoked to go, I went back in 2004!!

Given how underwhelming Detroit turned out, maybe Chicago will be OK.

Two debuts have been announced, the 2012 Acura TL and the 2012 Chevy Camaro Z28. I sure hope there are more.

According to a recent report from 2/5/11, GM is set to show a "Camaro-Based Car" at the Chicago Auto Show. Mark Reuss is a bit silent on this, but it's logically thought to perhaps be a variant on the Caprice PPV. We've already seen the Caprice PPV, but, could this be a variant of this sedan for law-enforcement, a civilian-version of the Caprice, which is LWB Statesman based, of could it be a regular-wheelbase Commodore sedan, a Pontiac G8 spiritual successor, of sorts, for Chevrolet division? We'll have to wait and see, which will be soon! Here is a link to the report, posted below:

Hyundai is said to debut the updated 2012 Genesis sedan range at the Chicago Auto Show, which is said to have a new 5.0L V8, which will have 429HP and 379lbs. ft. of torque, to be linked to a new 8-speed transmission, and will also yield more fuel mileage as well as power. Here's a link to this report, placed below:

That just-shown (just before I posted this) Camaro ZL1 flagship is HOT, and a highlight, but, what I had also hope was that in addition, that a mentioned "Camaro-based car", in the form of a civilian Caprice PPV, or a Chevrolet performance sedan, a Pontiac G8 spiritual-successor would have been the surprise, too. The Camaro ZL1 (called the Z28 before that) was known, anticipated, and a worst-kept-secret.

I went to th show and I must say I was dissapointed. Compared to when I went back in 2004, this year's show dissapointed me because they had NO EXOTICS!!! (Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Rolls-Royce, Maserati, Ferrari, etc), and it seems unorganized.

Best car of the show was the Infiniti Esence Concept - what a beautiful vehicle! Also liked the Buick Regal GS, Cadillac CTS-V Diamond Coupe, Merdeces-Benz CLS-Class, and the matte colors too. I was very impressed with the Hyundai Veloster and how much room it has inside, nice facelift for the Genesis too.

the Essence is still making the rounds? ooo I wish I would be in town for the NY show next month just for that car alone. It is absolutely stunning in person
