All I can say is it was built in Oregon... not by Volvo.<br><IMG SRC="http://i.pbase.com/v3/01/563301/2/50701902.Sidestance.jpg" BORDER="0"><p><IMG SRC="http://i.pbase.com/v3/01/563301/2/50701903.frontalshot.jpg" BORDER="0"><br>Sort of a bling bling version of the Dakar rally car from a couple of years ago. <br><IMG SRC="http://www.swedespeed.com/gallery/albums//Motorsport/Paris%20to%20Dakar%20V70%20XC/005.jpg" BORDER="0"><br>

A little too extreme for me but looks awesome. Do you have the specs as I am sure there are several mods other than the obvious visual ones...

Pretty sweet rig, though the plastic shelled electronics on the roof look too vulnerable.

haha Is this one of those "we did it cause we could" kind of things. This is just too weird.

Tango & Cash go to soccer practice.<br>I think it's rad.... can you imagine the look on the kids faces when you pick up little Billy in this freak-show? I'd drive it.... in a tamer version.... I like the hi-jack look.... it worked on the Audi Steppenwolf and it works here.

It almost looks unfinished as well. did he use the acura RSX from sema kit? lol

This is fun, but what it really needs is a damn great V8 shoehorned in.<p>If you're gonna be silly, go all the way. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/beigesmilewinkgrin.gif" BORDER="0">

With a toy like that?<p>For a Dakar support crew you need something a lot more hard-core than that thing!<p><IMG SRC="http://www.motorsm.com/motorsport/auto/pics_auto_racing/Paris-Dakar_Trucks_DAF_2005.jpg" BORDER="0">

Why would you want to hang back with the support crew when you have this.<br><IMG SRC="http://www.volvoxc.com/paris_dakar_2003/pics/1102/07.jpg" BORDER="0"><br><IMG SRC="http://www.volvoxc.com/paris_dakar_2003/pics/1102/10.jpg" BORDER="0"><br><IMG SRC="http://www.volvoxc.com/paris_dakar_2003/pics/1102/09.jpg" BORDER="0">
