Too bad the Sienna minivan cannot look this cool.

10-12-2005, 11:03 AM
Nice and clean inside and out, i like it. Probably the only Toyota family car that i've liked so far apart from the Prius. I like how they named their design philosophy, lol.Seems after Ford came up with "New Edge" in the mid-late '90s all car makers have names for their design now!

mite give us a glimpse of what the 2nd-gen highlander might look like. its supposed to become a crossover anyway.

10-12-2005, 07:07 PM
I though the FT-SX was the Highlander preview.

this could be the "next-step" kinda like when honda had the SUT concept then they released the updated version saying that it was closer to the lines of the ridgeline.

10-17-2005, 06:13 PM
front could be featured in New Corolla (new Corporate front? looks good enough) and overal shape is VERY VERY like Avensis version, if slightly more coupe it is lowering roof line.
I am pretty sure it will influence next Avensis Verso, and I HOPE! Would sell gazillions of them.
I dont know if Avensis Verso has an future though, with new Previa coming and Corolla Verso already gone upscale...

10-17-2005, 06:14 PM
but it could be that the fact the Rav4 didnt get 7 seat version for Europe is related to new possible Avensis Verso going to Europe (since their pricing would be pretty similar).

a lot of newspapers is saying this is infact the next corolla.. (or the corolla replacement)

10-21-2005, 05:13 PM
Well i doubt itll be a Corolla replacement... BUT Styling clues could go towards the Corolla. Maybe as a Corolla Wagon, with the general shape of it.

The Rear Hump for the emblem reminds me a bit too much like the Murano and FX, but otherwise, I wouldn't mind if COrolla styling took some pages from this concept.

Toyota FSC
Length - 4670mm... Width - 1800mm... Height - 1520mm and Wheelbase - 2800mm
The Avensis Verso/Ipsum
Length - 4690mm... Width - 1760mm... Height - 1725mm and Wheelbase -2825mm
The Corolla Wagon
Length - 4410mm... Width - 1695mm... Height - 1475mm and Wheelbase - 2600mm
From this I'd say Wheelbase wise... its WAY to big fa a corolla and abit bigger then the Avensis Verso. SO more likely a Avensis Verso replacement but then its length and height is shorter the the Avensis Verso....

They should give this design to Lexus... "C" pillar follows the IS & LS-Fh kink (reminds me a bit of the RX 330)... plus, it got a great review from cardesign.com (they usually dislike anything Toyota; but they also liked the LS-Fh)... Toyota is on a roll.

Uh Oh, got my letters reversed (should be LF-Sh... sorry)
