This thing screams NEW TSX and it's AWESOME good job honda

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen so many ripped off cues in a Honda Concept. The Greenhouse is pure Pontiac G6, the grille is Mazda but uglier, and the rear reminds me of the G35 coupe.

absolutely and totally unoriginal, but still attractive.

Don't forget the 96-2001 Audi A4 in that crease at the top of the trunk.

this is the most unoriginally designed concept i have ever seen. the most blatant rip-off being of the G6

Has lots of cues from the curreny Euro Accord, which would set the new onw apart from the rest of the pack.

i like it
the rear lights look like the ones on a civic coupe with a piece of light coming out of it

There is word that this has the sh-AWD system which would make it a far better drive than the front wheel powered euro accord/acura tsx. It looks alot better in real pictures on http://www.auto-g.jp

doesn't that interior look like the Peugeot 907 Concept's interior?
Not only as in the dark leather, but also the design of it, especially the two chrome gauges (ie. the speedometer)

I like it a lot, something daring and different from good old boring Honda. The new euro civic is a step in the right direction, so I wouldn't be surprised that the new accord will likely follow with a similar theme in styling. It seems to nicely incorporate both honda and acura styling.
Some of you mention this car ripping off other concepts, and likewise in other threads. It is inevitable that this will happen more and more, how many different shapes can a car have if it is to be sporty and a sedan that is coupe like? Stop *****ing people and get over the fact it looks like other cars, appreciate it for what is is forth.

how come there are so many honda concept car?? because of tokyo motorshow is it??
anyway, looking at this car, it seems that all honda have the same front end design direction nowadays.
interior is pure concept though. but judging by their bravery in new civic interior, i hope some of the element of the interior design will make it to production soon!!

Not to question your response,... but are you sure?
I'm having a hard time understanding this concept as an FF coupe (given their line-up), whereas I think there have been rumors about further FR products from Honda for a long time and, in addition to the exterior proportions looking somewhat less "FF" than recent Hondas would suggest, that interior sure seems to suggest a driveshaft (especially given Honda's recent infatuation with flat floor FF platforms).
Again, not trying to be a jerk in questioning your expertise, but I have my suspicions.

Cool! Honda designed an American car. Its about half G6 and half Ford Fusion, but it looks better than both. Love it.
I guess Honda figured if it couldn't beat the Americans on style, why not join them.

Yet another unique Honda slammed for derivativeness that is more imagined than actually there. Look at the TSX/European Accord and tell me what this looks like. Plus the interior looks great, I just don't like the brown color.

Looking closely at all the pics that have been published... this "concept" is built on a pre-production actual chassis... dressed up for show use (lights, grill, wheels, interior). Very typical car show stuff. Strip all that off and you are seeing the actual production body.
