hmm, hood looks a little long for a minivan....and it looks in production trim, are we sure this is a concept.....
Overall very nice, and a good increase in size

will this be replacing the current MPV!?!?!?

The front has a nice family face and it fits in just right to the mazda 3 and mazda 5 cars. The only thing bothering me is the headlights, they don't really fit in 100% with the design, and would be more at home in a Nissan rather than a Mazda. Still waiting for rear pictures before making more judgements.

the headlights remind me too much of the quest lights.

it looks pretty good, but right now i'm not so keen on the front end.

Unless I'm really not grasping the dimensions, I think this is not going to do anything to help Mazda's problem in the US market of having a minivan that's unconventionally small and strangely shaped, compared to the other vans on sale here. As for the rest of the world, I can't really say.
off topic:
Can someone PM me and tell me what the apparently rebodied JDM Accord and Nissan Fuga (or Teana - I can't tell) shown on the bottom of the linked page are?

a company called mitsuoka does conversions for alotta honda and nissan models. they look rly stupid, but apparently some people like them.

personally if brought to the U.S. i could see this thing really going either way with the consumer. it could easily be a flop, following the likes of the quest with its different styling, although atleast the quest was full sized. yet it could be a major hit, becuase although the styling is different from most minivans its atleast appealing, and except for the sliding doors it reminds one little of a minivan. also hasnt the 5 been quite a success, and that thing is even smaller, id assume if they can make this thing relatively big enough, price it right, and offer a nice sporty nature, and good engine options this thing could be recieved well in the U.S. i guess if it is brought here only time will tell

it looks great, i've decided. on that forum that there's a link to at the top of the page they say it isn't coming here to the US, is this true? i really hope not, this is a great car for those who need more space than a 5 but still want a mazda.

I reckon I'll get raped for saying this, but I reckon this car, based on these pictures alone, looks like the most attractive model in the current Mazda lineup. Forget the fact that it's an MPV, but it actually does look incredibly handsome and aggressive.

LOL Top Secret!
Im in agreement, it is really nice. But somehow the headlights dont fit IMO. I prefer Mazda 6 lights.

Wow. The US better be getting this rather than another stupid crossover. That is a very well done interior that could easily go into production with few changes. That's been one of the weaker points of the current one. It's functional, but not the nicest. And it appears they didn't make it a whale, like the Oddysey or Sienna, which has been a high point for the current one.

That middle row better stay to production. If so then I really want this. If this doesn't come to America I'm going to have to disown Mazda as my favorite practicle car company.

Everything is awesome about it except for those lights at the front, and the huge grille. If they were replaced by the 6's lights, it would look waaay better. Awesome interior too...more like a luxury car (judging by the reclining chair) than a van.

Shouldn't this be moved to the new car section, then?

The concept and related items stays here...I got a new thread in the new cars section going and moved everything there: http://www.carspyshots.net/zerothread?id=18541
