Besides the seats, I have to say that I really like this car.
Its a nice blend of retro design with a modern car, and could see Suzuki making this as popular as the 90's Nissan Figaro.
Well done Suzuki!

Kinda like a less likable Nissan Figaro.

This just makes me want to say, "Awwww....." They should make it as a competitor to the MINI, I whink it would work.

So, does LC stand for "Little Car"?

09-30-2005, 03:51 PM
this is a really nice concept. if it was actually built, and for all anyone knows it might be, i bet it would be dirt cheap.
anyway, i like it alot

would hate to be in the car during an accident.

09-30-2005, 06:24 PM
Wow. A Suzuki I like! This is pretty cool lookin. I love the whole retro ness of it. They pulled it off good.

09-30-2005, 07:11 PM
Oozing retro charm in that neat sort of way. I agree it seems cheap and un-crash worthy, but something about it still draws you towards it. This is really a great concept.

09-30-2005, 09:25 PM
Sorry. I just see it as a caricature.
Yes, it's cute - but that's because it's been carefully designed to look infantile. Some cynical stylist has decided to go after the Hello Kitty generation, and this is the result.
Which is okay on one level - the sort of people who have bedrooms full of plush toys would probably buy the thing. But that hardly makes it an admirable design.

You mean the '67 suzuki fronte?

Why does it have headlights on the back?

10-01-2005, 08:31 PM
woww, that means LC is the remake of fronte. Good job Suzuki.

OMG. The interior styler who approved that seat upholstry really should be fired...id hate to see what they wear to work! lol
Im really mixed with the 'why' factor, and the fact it looks freekish. Its really weird...

10-02-2005, 07:00 AM
This is a weird concept, it looks old, but I know that it isn't!
Very retro!

I see more Fronte than the SS in it. I'm pretty sure this is meant to be a Fronte. As for the seats, its just keeping in step with the retro theme. Look at the plaid interior on the new GTI, its heratige, not ugliness, even if it does look bad.

10-05-2005, 06:25 PM
I love this car, it's like all the 1960's "what the year 2000 will be like" shows my dad made me watch translated into one very funky lil car...it makes me nostalgic

10-06-2005, 05:54 AM
Well spotted with the Fronte.
The other thing it reminds me of is one of those 1960s Japanese friction drive toys, and I suspect the resemblance is quite deliberate.
Depending on your outlook, it's either way cool or too clever by half. I see it as a minor curiosity. Amusing, but it hardly advances the art.
And don't forget to take your big nose and red shoes when you head out for a spin.
