There are no words to describe it apart from simply awesome! <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/eek2.gif" BORDER="0">

VERY nice. i didn't particularly care for the concept sportback, but in production sedan form they really fine-tuned it. amazing!

09-28-2005, 10:59 AM
I want one, NOW. In that color, and everything...damn thats one HOT car<br> <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/biggrin.gif" BORDER="0">

09-28-2005, 03:49 PM
looks awesome. too bad the interior doesn't appear to give much away about the production model - that's one aspect of the current evo that needs improvement IMO, the fit and finish.

09-28-2005, 04:59 PM
Wow! I hope this styling works its way down to the workaday Lancers as well. It would be the best looking compact sedan out there, and a night-and-day improvement over the current Lancer.

09-28-2005, 05:07 PM
I've been kind of hoping Mitsubishi would go out of business, at least in the US, I'm no fan. But if this is what we have to look forward to from them, then never mind. The base Lancer should look 80-90% as agressive, though, or there's no point.

09-28-2005, 06:31 PM
Im diggin that. I'd like to see it in rally uniform. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emwink.gif" BORDER="0">

09-28-2005, 09:00 PM
whoa. That thing is insanely nice. I love it.

09-29-2005, 03:29 AM
omg...I'm speechless. <p>But after it gets toned down a bit, i'm sure it wont look as awesome. Although, i can't wait to find out.

I was just thinking, the side profile looks nice enough in concept form, with very good proportions, but it risks looking bland, very bland if the details get toned down much.

More pictures from Automobile.<p><A HREF="http://automobilemag.com/news/0511_mitsubishi_concept_x/" TARGET="_blank">http://automobilemag.com/news/...pt_x/</A><p>It looks great outside, and I'm sure performance is good, but for once a minimalist styled interior is a bad thing. If they change nothing else then I hope they change the interior.

I posted these under the Compact Sportback, but I guess they are better fitting here...<p><IMG SRC="http://response.jp/issue/2005/0928/article74721_1.images/95069.jpg" BORDER="0"> <p><IMG SRC="http://response.jp/issue/2005/0928/article74738_1.images/95083.jpg" BORDER="0"> <p><IMG SRC="http://response.jp/issue/2005/0928/article74738_1.images/95084.jpg" BORDER="0"> <p><IMG SRC="http://response.jp/issue/2005/0928/article74738_1.images/95085.jpg" BORDER="0"> <p><IMG SRC="http://response.jp/issue/2005/0928/article74738_1.images/95086.jpg" BORDER="0"> <p><IMG SRC="http://response.jp/issue/2005/0928/article74739_1.images/95087.jpg" BORDER="0"> <p><IMG SRC="http://response.jp/issue/2005/0928/article74739_1.images/95088.jpg" BORDER="0"> <p><IMG SRC="http://response.jp/issue/2005/0928/article74739_1.images/95089.jpg" BORDER="0">

Respect. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/bowdown.gif" BORDER="0"> <p>Make mine very dark blue, with a de-glitzed interior.

09-30-2005, 06:06 AM
Thats so cool! Wouldn't it be so mad if they kept the inside the same for the production version!!! The instrument pannel and door pannels are absolutly spot on!!! Everything is just so well done...wow

09-30-2005, 07:16 AM
pretty cool,isn't it.

09-30-2005, 08:06 AM
One very impressed and very envious Subaru onwer here... damn this thing is so mean looking.

09-30-2005, 02:21 PM

I still don't like the interior, and it looks like they have some excess weight to shave in the engine compartment. Other than that this is one awesome ride. It looks like the Evo X is definently going to have the style edge on the STi.

10-01-2005, 03:56 AM
So im guessing the basic Lancer shape is in there too...<p>If so the new Lancer will look good :thumbup"

10-01-2005, 12:38 PM
The exterior is just <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/icondrool.gif" BORDER="0"> <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0"> <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0"> <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://images.zeroforum.com/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0"> <br>The interior is awfull but I don't think they are going to use it at the production car.<br>

10-01-2005, 12:53 PM
Wow, its freaking amazing, the interior doesn't look good but i guess they really wanted it to look like it came out of a racecar or something <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/ylsuper.gif" BORDER="0"> <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/ylsuper.gif" BORDER="0">
