for me definitely the best Smart variation ever (except the orignal, first one... I don'd mind that one), but still kind of dull! I'll pass the collour choice ...

this is study based on Smart made by EDAG (hence funy logo). Yup, colour is odd, the looks are nice, sport, almost like a mini ferrari or lotus. What's the engine, the regular smart one?

Its definently the coolest Smart yet. Maybe a bit too radical for Smart though.

I agree about the colour being bad but i disagree with this being either cool or too radical for Smart. This design, in my opinion, looks nothing like a Smart should look like..its far too fussy and "normal-sports car" like to be a Smart. This car reminds me of other coupes such as the Fiat Coupe & a little bit of Lotus Elise. Maybe its just me on the similarities things. But remember that Smart cars were not supposed to look like any other car out there nor are they supposed to appeal to everyone. The are small, funky, quirky and have a very unique character and DNA. Also remember that Mercedes collaborated with Swiss watch maker(Swatch i think) just so these cars looked like fashionable accesories, mostly for women & young individuals. So, IMHO, for Smart to start making cars that look "normal" and appeal to everyone is not a good move. And btw, i reckon the original Smart Coupe/Roadster looks really good, is not dull and i preffer it over this green car anytime, and i am not even a Smart fan..anyone shares my opinion??

I'm not denying them other qualities (except the price tag, I don't think they deserve it)! don't miss understand me, I just think that they are ugly! O.K. ...FourFour is dull and Roadster is ugly and both are unapealing to me !
I might not be clear enough, or I should chose thread's title more carefuly... this car uses Sart's mechanics... engines, transmision... wel, whole platform! but it is not MB's Smart! it was developed by EDAG, car parts manufacturer! this is Smart "in desguise" ....
oh, yes... what I ment in my first post is that, even this is clearly ment to be joy machine, it stil aperes "stiff" and "by the book"... there's no passion in it! tere's much more passion on it's drawings, and they mainly differ just in wind sheild's height and curvature of bonnet's top edge! so, I wrote that it looks kind of dull...

Call me boring, but this doesnt look like a Smart. Rather smarts attempt to make a small Lotus/Ferrari...
I like the colour thought

Upon quick glance, with the air intake and the size, it almost looks like they put a body on an Ariel Atom.
I really like this styling exercise- it is very aggressive and looks like it means business. I really like the front spoiler for some reason.
Now just give it the power to back it up.

i really like it, it's just the only thing is that it doesn't seem very "smart" to me. apart from the quad-headlamps, it couldn't really be identified as a smart. ah well, looks great anyway.
