thanks for the post, this a very nice concept. All these small design touches seem to add up nicely to make a nice looking car. And it appears the spy-shots recently taken suggest a 3-door clubman just like this...

Looks really nice and retro, more that the Mini should be.
Cant help but see some Phantom in those rear lights though...and the front lights...look like they came off the Ford FAB-1!

If this becomes available in 4x4 it will be my next car. An etanol or hybrid version on top of that and it is perfect.
What a great day. First a zip-file filled with stunning pictures of the equally stunning Citroen C-SportLounge and now this. I had almost given up on the car industry. Now I look forward to shopping for a car in a year and a half.

That looks better for 21 Century Mini. It could be a clue for wagon version and next gen mini hatchback (i guess). What MOORHOUSE send before looks Beautiful with mad look design and impressive folded rear end doors.

I'm not feeling this one. The front door is massive. I would hate to try to get out of this thing in a tight parking spot without dinging the car next to me. And the proportions are rather awkward, in my opinion. It looks to have comprable room to a Golf 2 door, but yet it's proportions aren't anywhere close, like the regular Mini is. Not saying this needs to look like a Golf, but it isn't my cup of tea.

Its a pretty sweet looking in those pictures...it has lot a bit of its looks from the drawing bord but gee is still is nice! I can really picture mini making this, and a heap of other trendy cars! Smart like, yet more practical! BMW genious!

Concerning the "shooting brake" denomination:
this Mini is (yeah, yeah, I know it's BMW, but still...) British, it has two doors on the side, one/two doors on the back, and it's longer than the standard version...
It has all the cards to be called a shooting brake, which is a typology of car with these characteristics (an "estate"/wagon version of a car with two doors only).
IMO: Whatever they call it (Traveller, Station Wagon, Break, Avant, Touring, Long, Two or Blah...), it is, to all intents and purposes, a SHOOTING BRAKE...

Personally, I think the headlights need to be leaned more foward.

But...But it's a mini...it's just gonna be like the new cooper...but even bigger, mini's are supposed to be small hence the name given "mini"
