Looking great! I see it features updated headlight and taillight designs, which will probably be part of the upcoming Z4 facelift.
Also, since this is a concept car and not the final production model (at least according to the captions), shouldn't it be in the concept cars section?

looks veryyyyy nice! Im wondering if the 'm' version of this will be going after the Cayman though?

Looks like it should be miles ahead of the Cayman!
I really like the way this turned out, a million times bettert than the old Z3 Coupe.

well i guess it would.. But in the UK the standard Z4 Roadster begins with 2.0 and 2.2 litre engines, which if fitted in the coupe wouldnt really make it an ideal Cayman rival... I've not read the article for this yet, so i don't know what engines will go with this car...
The 3 litre i could see rivalling the cayman, but maybe the 'M' version, hence the uncertainty!

The concept car is powered by a 3l i6 generating 265HP. The coupe will probably get at least the 2.5l i6 as well, plus we'll see the obligatory M version.

This does look incredibly nice. Very sharp lines, not as droppy as the roasterwith an ass as jLo. I see some Z9 in the rear, which is great as i loved that concept. Well done BMW, that's the first bangle-style bmw without being designd from bangle :-D People from BMW know what the folks desire.

With so many intersecting and juxtaposed lines, one would think that this car would come across as an aesthetic nightmare and yet, bafflingly, it manages somehow to look really nice. I love it.
And what a fascinating battle: Z4 Coupe vs. Cayman.

does anyone else think that this car is just atrocious? the rear bangle butt is just terrible, and the rear view has got this hunchback of notre dame look that's just so unsporty, so unsexy.

I'm like Porsches, but I used to be a BMW fan before they got all weird, the Z4 was the last Bimmer I truly liked, but this is incredible. I truly do like it more than the Cayman, and I think the Cayman is incredible.

Also cool, it's not every day you see a truly unique wheel concept. Those things are gorgeous! Wonder if they're production-feasible?
*

Woww, thats mad coupe version there. Is Chris Bangle designed this version or he's already retired at BMW??? If he works on this car i love it, better than orginal Z4.

I don't like the Z4 in any way, and i was expecting some disastrous design like the Z3 coupe was. However, this is a huge surprise for me. This car is pretty sexy, and the first Z series that i like (including the Z8). It reminds me to some TVRs though.

Yeah, me too... another day and I'm even more pleased with BMW's effort - this is a very dramatic looking car. And that interior I just love BMW's "art-deco" cabins and this one takes that to a new level. Ooo, I can just imagine, the new N52 straight six, 195 kW, turbine smooth and soulful, in a sexy coupe like this... dreamy.

It does look good - but this is an aging design with an even older platform. I'm missing the point of bringing this out now.

I love it. Its not ugly but it wont win any beautycontests but I could care less cause this car is hot, tough, cool and special. If I could afford two cars or if I didnt need a practical car, this would be the car for me.
This car is probably going to be the most fun and best handling BMW today (except for M-cars of course).
Great work again by BMW
