Here's this weird looking 1-seat car concept from Zagato design:

Source: quattroruote.it

I wonder if the designer gas any idea of the expense of producing such a large domed piece of glass for such a small vehicle. Also I'm guessing this would lend to some "interesting" results during crashes. another thing it looks like entry is not achieved through conventional doors (please don't tell me it's via sliding canopy). Oh yeah, and no windows. Poor design indeed.
No kidding. On a sunny day, you'd get roasted like a Thanksgiving turkey!
The money you save on gas you'd blow on SPF 50 sunblock.
A vespa is better, cost a lot less and would save more fuel.

Looks like an egg in one of those littles cups you eat them from when they are soft boiled.

I got a feeling that it won't be glass.. it would be laminated lexan equivalent. Which also cut down on weight and cost.

Quote, originally posted by Santeno »

Stability can be compensated for by adding weight to the under body (like MB does by partly sandwiching the engine below the passenger compartment. also powerful gyroscopes in the under carriage (like those used in segway's) can be used to counterbalance the car.
In all, a cute concept but poor design. I am working on a similar design myself, but with tandem seating and single rear wheel.
I am not really a fan of such designs as I find them a little excessive compared to a motorbike.

It's amazing to see how much you people get worked up over some concepts, but on other equally if not more rediculous ones you like for their weirdness. Seriously guys, its just a concept, calm down.
