This concept is one of my favorites. he car looks compact yet has loads of practical treatments here and there. I'm imagining this would be a great replacement for the escape. <br> <IMG SRC="http://www.automovilcenter.com/images/futurista-auto/2003%20Ford%20Model%20U.jpg" BORDER="0"> <br> <IMG SRC="http://www.automovilcenter.com/images/futurista-auto/2003%20Ford%20Model%20U1.jpg" BORDER="0"> <br> <IMG SRC="http://www.automovilcenter.com/images/futurista-auto/2003%20Ford%20Model%20U2.jpg" BORDER="0"> <br>source: <A HREF="http://www.automovilcenter.com" TARGET="_blank">http://www.automovilcenter.com</A> <p><IMG SRC="http://estaticos.elmundo.es/elmundomotor/especiales/2003/01/detroit/imagenes/novedades/ford_model_u_g.jpg" BORDER="0"> <br> source: elmondomotor.com<p>

It looks much better than that bank vault thingy they did anyway...<br>

Ditto that Dvieira. The synus was just a me toyota bB(scion xB). The styling was too brash and very unpleasant compared to scion's t2B concept. the model U on the other hand is 100% original and it looks good while doing so. I just don't understand what is going on in the heads of Fords top people.

If Ford built this, i would imagin this would bring a younger audience. I just love the idea of a small SUV with a tiny trap, sortof ute like. I would DEFINATLY buy one!!!

Do we really need another SUV on the already supersaturated SUV market?

Remember, this concept was comprised mostly of recyclable or environmentally friendly materials, everything from seats to dashboard have a changeable plug & play design and it was powered by a 4-cylinder hydrogen powered engine. If Ford implements these design and engineering techniques onto their roadcars then ill forever be happy

I love the idea of a hydrogen-hybrid. When mass-produced, hydrogen will be much cheaper than gasoline is now, and a hybrid will save even more money with more horsepower added with the electric motor. It is a terrific combination. <p>Aside from the powertrain, I like the car overall. Would buy this in a heartbeat. I really think that Ford is looking deep into the future of automobiles with the Model U, and I love it.

I Like How It Opens All Up. The White Wood Paneling On The Side Doors Makes It Look Cooler. Although It Has A Small Pickup Bed, It Can Still Probably Haul Alot.
