The Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix will take place tomorrow at Sepang sohere (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/results/7921022.stm) are the qualifying results and the starting grid (http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/motorsport/formula_one/results/7921082.stm) for tomorrows race.

Potentially another great start for Brawn GP as Button is on pole while Barrichello is eighth after being given a five place penalty following a gearbox change. Qualifying was an interesting one as Massa who's been on pole the last two years at Malaysia didn't even make it to the second stage of qualifying after Ferrari took a gamble on his time being quick enough to get him through.

The latest weather reports for KL look (http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/153) interesting to say the least, with 31C and 68% humidity. Nothing unusual for the races in Asia but it will be interesting how to see how the 2009 cars react to the conditions.

Coverage starts tomorrow morning on BBC1 at 9:00 with the race itself starting at 10:00 so I might even watch the whole thing!

BBC coverage is great! 1st of all; no commercial breaks. A good solid commentary team. Extended coverage of all practice sessions on digital tv (under the red button) and alternative audio from BBC radio 5
live.

Agreed, they're doing a brillaint job.
Great day for motorsport today, F1 in Malaysia and the last day of WRC Portugal.

It's odd. Brawn: Calm and Collective. And the two F1 drama queens are no where to be found.

Thats one of the drama queens. McLaren is the other. Without a doubt, every year, you can bet these guys always start something up. :grintoothless:

That's cos they're both big and at the top of the game. Like the Dutch say; tall trees catch the most wind. Neither got to where they are now by being nice and letting the other guy have the last slice of cake.

Nice guiys come...last.

I don't know about that saying right now in F1. All of the "nice" guys are up front and the two drama queens are on the back of the field. ;)
