The new rear end is pretty nice, but it does not match the front end to my eyes. Someone put on the brakes and start shooting Protoscar. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/eek2.gif" BORDER="0">

This looks like a Porsche van. It's pants.

I don't think I even have to say how bad this is, but I will anyway. This really looks terrible, especially since its the 996 generation. They were so unique, and they can't easily be replaced like they could if they were 997s. I say Rinspeed did much better with the Bedouin.

i could see that rear end on a next-generation lexus RX330 or similar, but not on a porsche <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/pukeface.gif" BORDER="0">

Somebody needs to slap the person that committed this design crime.

02-25-2005, 09:54 PM
Why would you even want to do this to a porsche? <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/nixweiss.gif" BORDER="0"> Shouldn't there be a law against this type of modifications? What's next? steelies cheap plastic interior and viola cargo van. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/beigesmilewinkgrin.gif" BORDER="0">

You probably can't even bring groceries home in it, because putting your milk or lettuce right on top of the engine would lead to diaster. I wonder if they solved that problem.

02-27-2005, 05:56 AM
ewwwww<p>The back looks like Renault.

02-27-2005, 06:01 AM
Actually it's the drunken bastard lovechild of a 996 and an Avantime.

02-28-2005, 08:46 PM
I would be inclined to agree. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/pukeface.gif" BORDER="0"> is right.

03-01-2005, 06:31 AM
Amen, Brother! Charger is right. The total definition of unattractive. Besides why would anyone want a Porsche Squareback?

Oh my God... <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.germancarfans.com/images/forums/pukeface.gif" BORDER="0"> <p>Words can't even begin to describe how much I hate this thing.
