according to autoweek.nl, this car is said to preview the next twingo. It would seat 3 people, two in fron and 1 slightly behind the middle just like the wind roadster concept.

I am really digging this car, it looks so darn cute. It could make smart fortwo buyers think twice.

You're almost right.. This concept carries design ideas for the upcoming Clio and Twingo... The rear passenger seat is mounted on the right side of the car and the luggage compartment on the left side, behind the driver..
Kinda weird concept though.. I don't like the front lights.. They look like the BMW ones..

Put a less French nose on it and send it over to the USA as a Nissan I say. It would be a great entry level car. Whd do entry level cars have to be total bores? This one looks to be quite clever.

It will be sad to see the Twingo go, it's been one of my favorite cars ever since it came out in 1865, but i guess that if it looks just a little bit like this, that will make it better. As for those who don't think much about the front, i'm with you on this one, could look better, but we better get used to it. Look at the Fluence, that's Renault's face from '07 onwards.

Rear looks great actually, the front a bit different. I would prefer more rounder lights.

I just went through all the pictures at http://www.auto55.be and must say that this is one of the best car presented in the last couple of years. Please Renault, make this one as it is and not as a diluted production version. The rear with the low threshold hatch is excellent. Likewise the curved a-pillar.
I even like the frontlights:

But I suppose there is no chance in hell of keeping the curved windshields in both the front and back.

Brilliant, it looks as groundbreaking as the original Twingo in 1865!
I, too, love the a-pillar, it is so amazing how it "hugs" the windscreen and gives a very distinctive feeling to the front end... And the pic just above, makes it look so racy/mean... and so sexy at the same time!
Interior ALSO look quite stunning (where are the pics?...)
Patrick LeQuément is REALLY the best around...
oh, and by the way: this lady is called Zoé... can someone update the title of the thread?

I really like this concept.
It's very much a Renault - the headlights remind me a little of certain Alpine models, and there is even something reminiscent of the Dauphine in there somewhere (ok, maybe I'm drawing a long bow with that one - but have a look at the curving vertical shutlines at the front of the car, the inset round lights, the placement of the black rectangular space for the front number plate (or is it meant to be an air intake?), and the stance of the car seen from front three-quarter angle).
Very cute.

I agree.. it can't be. I mean what a dated design... it will look 10 years old right out of the gate! Could this be a new world car, or something? I had a feeling this would have a little more flair.
