Gullwing doors on an SUV - yeh, it fully makes sense.
And why does Nissan always come up with SUV concepts? I mean, they already have like 5 in their stable; or maybe this one just points to the new Patrol..

maybe its one of the three models that replaces Almera?
I thought that the is going to be small MPV (note), hatch and little SUV-like model (Ford Fusion competitor)

It's obviously a styling excersice. can anyone guess as to any parts of it that might transfer int an actual production vehicle (besides the grills general styling which is already in use)?
You can see the Armada roofline and fender flares in it also. I would say that the tailgate has a possible production look to it, though the bumpers are way undersized and too flush to the body. The interesting thing is that it's a two door. Could it preview a RAV4 cute-ute competitor that utilizes Armada cues?
This coulb be the next X-trail. Looks good. Wouldn't mind having one.

Uhhh... Okay. I don't really get it. This concept is strange. It's like lunar rover meets Armada meets DeLorian. I would like to see Nissan build something like this to slot under the Xterra and sell for under $18k fully loaded. But then again, Nissan has 4 SUVs, and number 5 would be overkill, and Nissan needs a small RWD sports car to slot under the Z car.
P.S. The roofline and doors are just plain stupid. The designer is a idiot. Also, I've heard rumors that Nissan is to have a truck to slot under the Frontier and compliment the Xterra. But those plans may have been scrapped.

And for those of you who hate the doors; the reason why they use them is so that they can show the interior off easily at the Auto show, not for any other reason. My guess is that they styled this after Nissan's other SUVs (the American ones particularly) because the X-trail will be coming here.

Nothing below the Frontier. But this hints at the new design direction for SUVs that aren't in USoA (all of which need to be replaced)...
Patrol, xTrail being the main two. The SUV itself will not be produced like that.

I'd love for something with this kind of styling to replace the Murano.
