I have seen photos of this car from as far as a year ago but have never found any info about it in english. Here is a quote from a recent autoweek forums post...
"It's built by a Volvo-employee, who normally makes concept-cars, and uses Volvo S8-parts. It has, as it name says, a T6 turbo-engine with 272 bhp. The engine is mid-mounted, it has a steel space-frame, and the bodywork is made from aluminium and carbon-fiber. That'll be a hot drive! But I guess Volvo won't built it.... " AJ - Autoweek.com forums
Here are some pictures that I have found.
http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/ph...t=500
http://hem.passagen.se/tazmania/
Being a huge fan of the Volvo brand and the Plymouth Prowler I must say this is awesome!

Car and Driver had this about a year ago, they spotted it in Europe and said it was the return of the Prowler

If I recall correctly, this was not an official concept by volvo. I thought itb was designed and built by people outside the company, and that it was not done for volvo or at their request. perhaps someone can elaborate.

I don't know Santeno but it still has many volvo components which technically makes it a volvo vehicle. If you actually look in one of the pics at http://hem.passagen.se/tazmania/ you can clearly read that it is sposored by a number of companies including Volvo.

You know what, volvos new super-compact V8 could possibly fit in the engine bay of this car. That would make it one hell of a monster.
