i think it was a private job done for a contest, AUdi would never build a concept the size of a diecast acr or would they

This concept puts audi design elemnts together really well. Small it might be, but it is fit to be an audi smart and it looks sporty too.

A two seater with a low threshold bootspace big enough for a dog-crate. This is what I have been waiting for for several years and it's not even a real concept. Thats too bad because I would go to the bank and secure the loan today, if this had been a real car.
Considering how big the small-car market is becoming in europe would this actually be such a crazy idea? If Audi could refrain from packing it with expensive new technology (like A2) they could price it as all the other Audis are priced, relatively. I think it would sell. VW is going for the Fox, Fiat has the Panda and Trepiuno will come eventually, BMW has the Mini (which in my opinion is a two-seater in reality) etc. It would seem that other manufacturers see the need for a car this size.
Are there any better pictures with higher resolution anywhere? I want to have my dream-car as my desktop wallpaper.

Couldn't agree more with DrPetrus. Audi should really consider this concept, It looks smart enough to put the smart out of business. With such dimunitive dimensions and inherently low weight, add in a 1.6 FSi engine and you've got a rocket.

Looks cute. I actually don't mind it! And I agree, they should develop this as a concept and see how the consumers react to it. If there is a good enough reaction to it, I reckon it could well give the smart fortwo a run for it's money, especially since the A1 has a much more reputable brand name.
