Looks like a hatchback version of maserati coupe. Guigaro is fond of using similar design cues for different companies, but only when the design does not make it to production.
This was the same scenario with the alfa romeo viconti looking similar to the 1999 bugatti EB218 concept.

Have to agree with taskbearer on the Maserati Coupe looks.
I think its good, simply because its a Lexus that doesnt copy styling from any other car.

Another observation is the curved rear C-pillar and hump over the rear wheel are similar to other guigaro designs, look at the jaguar keninghton in the other thread, alfa visconti, the maserati coupe as mentioned before and the most striking is the resemblance to another guigaro maserati, the kubang

Don't quote me on it, but I believe that like Kharman and Pininfarina, they might also do some assembly (but I could be wrong about that).

Italdesign has designed several very very popular and great selling cars throughout history. The Lotus Esprit being one particular example, but I mean more along hte lines of normal cars too.
At least I think the Pininfarina Quarz Quattro has a strong simmilarity with the current Alfa Spider/GTV
Pininfarina Quarz Quattro:

Source:http://www.2bsold.de/kfz/audi_....html

Well, thats pretty interesting never knew such a concept exixted. The similarities are striking but the execution of the alfa gtv was better. I doubt this audi if produced would have joined the list of most beautiful coupes ever.
