Feel free to look them over but please refrain from voting until I've sorted out the issue with mrfdesign's image.

Thanks all :D

4 = DoMiNoA true Bently, with some interesting ideas fit for the richest playboys in the world. You've managed to combine British elegance with modern contempory themes. The doors are a masterstroke! Excellent!
3 = or2007Lagonda - The perfect brand for people who are too rich to have a 'common' Aston Martin lol. Great idea and great drawing.
2 = QuattroYou mentioned that you thought your drawing was cr**, but you've managed to get your thoughts onto paper reasonably well. An Audi RS12 is a good idea... what better than to show off your wealth by going one better than the R8.
1 = mrfdesignAgain, i like the idea. I wouldn't think the super-rich would go for a 'common' BMW though, even if your proposal was limited numbers. Still, a lot of people have fond memories of the old 850i and that was a very rare car so you may be on to something. Only criticism - the drawings proportions are a bit odd.

So, Mr Burns.. sorry you didn't get a point. It was a hard decission and what made me exclude your design was that it's not recogniable as a Maserati. And even if it was more Maserati like, I see it as a too similar idea to the already rare Gran Turismo. The shape is great though, it's just the details. Maybe it would look better rendered?

Anyway, well done all! I'm surprised no one did a full fat SUV!

Ah!

I read this after I had posted. It took me ages to write out my post, and I started my post straight after DoMiNo had closed the contest.

I remember mrfdesigns design well enough to have given him the point.

I've apologised to DoMiNo on a PM. Sorry to you all for jumping the gun!

Wow, some nice entries.

I have no valid excuse for not participating....

4 - DoMiNo, Stunning as usual.
3 - or2007, Awesome design - not very Aston Martin like though
2 - Mr. burns, quite a nice sketch, nicely proportioned and all.
1 - Quattro, great drawing, great improvement, really getting there. Work on observation (Which are the light and dark areas? Contrast, surface deffinition). looking good though!

To mrfdesign - Nice Idea, looking good overall, but some proportions issues and foreshortening are ruining it. Really work on perspective proportions on a sheet of paper, then put it as an underlay for your design and work over that. You'll see a significant improvement!

To CSS PRODIGY - Great idea, nice design, minus the very back of it. Some perspective and proportions issues which are adviseable to work on. The front is facing in one direction, the rear in another direction. Also, losen up your style, let the lines flow free even if they're not perfect. I think you're designing the car piece by piece (ie, headlamp, then grill, then fender, etc. Instead, design the overall shape and proportions and progress in detail simultaneously across the car. Keep it up!

Great effort everyone!

That's pretty much how I do it lol! I start with the wheels, then usually the headlights, then the grille.... i know i need to try and harmonise everything and try different perspectives. I've got some Clarkmans being revealed at the Detroit show that i've tried to draw differently.

One day I will hopefully get there lol.

Hi gang! Another great group of ideas.. I desperately wanted to participate in this one.. and yes, I was actually considering a crazy tricked-out crossover sort of thing! But time ran out (as usual) and I was left to appreciate the results of those of you that could actually get your ideas together in a timely manner :)

My votes are as follows:

4- DoMiNo - a nicely rendered design that best suits the objectives of the contest and suits the Bentley brand as well. I really like this one!

4- The CSS Prodigy - kudos to you for having one of the most original shapes and for bringing back a classic brand! I don't know if billionaires would warm up to a "simplistic interior" though.. :)

1- OR2001 and 1- Mr Burns for sheer rendering talent.. though I personally couldn't see either of these vehicles being sold under the brands chosen.

To me, the BMW and Audi entries were a little too close to models already in production, but very nice drawings!
